You are responsible for the architecture and implementation of a reliable software framework that ensures efficient development and seamless deployment of radar and other sensor algorithms.
You maintain and develop software test infrastructure and contribute to sensor verification and calibration efforts.
You create real-time software- and algorithm- building blocks that deal with classification, tracking, detection, and forecasting in the context of environmental radar remote sensing.
In the context of machine learning, you develop and maintain automated pipelines for data ingestion, preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.

This is you

You are interested in the topic of monitoring systems for natural hazards.
Your capabilities are founded on several years of experience in the development of software framework architectures related to the acquisition and processing of (environmental) sensor data.
Your mathematical and machine learning skill-set helps you to obtain robust estimates from large data sets, while minimizing erroneous results.
You are familiar with a set of high- and low-level programming languages, Linux environments, and ready to learn new technologies whenever necessary.
You appreciate working independently as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams, data scientists, engineers and stakeholders to negotiate requirements, interfaces, and abstractions and translate them into technical solutions.
You are creative, interested in clean architecture and state-of-the-art solutions, can convince those around you and have a structured way of implementing your ideas.
Your language skills allow you to communicate in a German-speaking team, but English is not a hurdle for you either.
